Egypt no. 1 lists 80 mounts, from December 29, 1853, to February 12, 1854. Egypt no. 2 lists 71 mounts from February 12 to March 18, 1853.

The first folded sheet comprises mounts 1-80 from box 1 (items 1-63) and box 2 (items 64-80), from December 31, 1866, to February 3, 1867.

The list is numbered to 82 (with blanks), largely replicating the Albania list in folder 25 of the collection. No dates are recorded.

Undated. Includes note at top right: "X means not to be framed yet."

Apparently a rough draft of the Greece list described in folder 21a of this collection (here item 134 is Cape Colonia whereas in the related list item 134 is Athens).

There are two lists within this gathering. The first is titled "Greece 1849" and occupies the first five. It lists 209 drawings, from March 8 to April 23, 1849. With Lear's note by the title: "Lists 4-5, please return with drawings."

Lists 29 mounts from Lear's 1848 and 1863 visits, primarily the latter.

Primarily a rough draft of Lear's list for 1863 (see folder 30 of the present collection). Also includes a section on 1848 drawings.

Two lists, in one gathering. The first is titled "Ionian Isles 1848" and occupies the first 3 leaves. With 134 listed drawings (two left blank), April 24 to May 28. Annotated below caption title: "Please return with drawings." Followed by two blank leaves.

After "... sent to England" the caption continues "-- can give away (unmounted dwgs not included)"
