This series is divided into five sections: Books, Articles, Lectures, Journals, and Writings of Others. Under the Books section there are fifteen numbered notebooks on modern French painting and fourteen numbered notebooks on modern French sculpture, which are preliminary drafts of Eaton's books, Handbook of Modern French Painting (1909) and Handbook of Modern French Sculpture (1913).
