The series is arranged alphabetically by topical headings and contains correspondence, pamphlets, printed materials, photographs, receipts, and other materials. The majority of materials have been left in original folders. When new folders were necessary, headings were taken from original folders. The majority of materials in the series are found under three headings: AIDS/AIDS treatment, "circuit" culture, and Events. "Circuit" culture includes information on "circuit" events as well as the party drugs often associated with them. Events contains materials relating to parties and fundraisers, many of which were organized by Candida Scott Piel. There are three folders of research materials on the Jewel Box Revue.
