In his letter Chamberlain agrees to take photographs of the interior and exterior of the Cowles House, the Lewises's home in Farmington, which he would have printed as "contact postcards" in Boston. The resulting negatives are in Series V of the Lewises' photograph collection (LWL MSS 22), Box 10, folder 3, and two sets of postcards are in Wilmarth Lewis's papers (LWL MSS 20), Box 33, folder 8, and Box 277, folder 2.
