Likely assembled by Emma Jennings, the album begins with images of Farmington, Connecticut, followed by images of Sarah Porter, her school, students, class pictures, and reunions; and an image of the Memento Mori Cemetery cenotaph erected in memory Porter School art instructor Sarah Strong Tuthill (1830-1882). Following a series of blank leaves, a second group of ten pages of photographs of young women begins with a photograph of Celia Jennings. A third grouping of twenty-four pages begins with images of Fairfield, family scenes, pictures of dogs, sail boats, horse and buggies, pictures of interiors, groups of friends and family (some people are identified).
