The two narrative poems written and illustrated by Ruth Nash were likely created as notes of appreciation after the Nash family had visited the Lewises.
Formerly in a brown paper wrapper inscribed by Annie Lewis: "RPN's drawings / Ruth Prentice Nash (Mrs. E. W. Nash) photostats of drawings sent E.W.N. when he was in Italy during the war, 1943-45."
Leaf specimens collected in Newport and arranged by Ruth Coffin Nash. Also present is an undated hand-lettered label for "The Nash Beach-Glass Collection," likely from a display left behind after the family had visited.
