This folder contains correspondence and ephemera unattached to specific bookplates. It includes additional copies of the partial, type-written checklist of Pace's personal designs; four sets of draft correspondence together with bookplates selected by Pace for exchange; and various printed ephemera, including exchange cards explaining the various forms of Pace's name and also requesting that any bookplate correspondence be addressed to Mrs. Edmund Andrews.

Process Materials

This series contains examples of process materials—namely, blocks or plates—for many of Pace's personal bookplate designs. Whenever possible, Pace collected these materials directly from the artists, often as part of the initial negotiation for the commission.
