A letter to Richard Ungerer, AMS Director, regarding her donation of reel-to-reel tapes made during the summer of 1963, at the AMS teacher-training program at West Los Angeles Montessori in Van Nuys, California. It also contains some biographical information about Hannah MacLaren.

A diploma, signed by Maria Montessori, from the Internationale Montessori Courso, 1914 and a photograph of the Montessori class in Rome, June 1914. Included in the photograph is Maria Montessori and Packard's friend Charlotte Wiggen. Photograph shows 88 women, one man, and eight children.

Items related to the experiences of Mary Storrs Packard of Maine in her education as a Montessori teacher: Two volumes of a journal by M.S. Packard: a) Rome, March 1914, Via Gregoriana. 36. Packard's extensive class notes, including observances of children playing and learning, and description of day's occurrences. Pasted on second page is a photograph of Maria Montessori and two unidentified women. b) Rome, June 1914, 36 Via Gregoriana. Continues Packard's daily notes. Pasted in the journal is a letter, January 19, 1914, from Signorina Anna Fedeli, telling Packard that Dr. Montessori has accepted her application to take the course. Loose in the album is a photograph of Maria Montessori.
