In April 1980, the year of its twentieth anniversary, the Board of Directors at the American Montessori Society authorized funds to conduct a study of members and other Montessorians who, although were not members, could be potential members. The study was designed to determine member and potential member perceptions of current AMS offerings, and to define a range of needs expressed by these constituencies which could be fulfilled by the Society in the future. The data generated by the study, once analyzed and interpreted, would provide grass roots guidelines to the AMS leadership in the development of its future policies and programs. This file contains that study.
