RR1-12 includes recordings of panels and workshops from the 1969 AMS Seminar, "Montessori and America's Future," held in Chicago. Speakers include, but are not limited to, Paul Czaja, Joan Beck, Virginia Fleege, Lillian De Vault, Sonja Donahue, Urban H. Fleege, and John Blessington. Topics include, "The Montessori Concept of Freedom and its Implications for the Classroom," "Helping Out Children Actualize Their Potential," Teacher Training, Sex Education, Public Relations, "Impact of the City on the Learning Opportunities and Life Styles of Children," "Implementing Montessori in the Home," "Articulating the Work of the Montessori School with the Efforts of the Home," "Developing a Positive Self-Image in the Child: Implications for Teachers and Parents," "Practical Problems in Organizing a Montessori School," and a question and answer session with Sally Cassidy and Gil Donahue. RR13-70 includes recordings from the first AMS Seminar in 1962, the AMS Seminar in 1963, and the 10th Anniversary AMS Seminar in 1970. The majority of these recordings come from the 1962-1963 Teacher Training Course, which was co-taught by Nancy McCormick Rambusch and Lena Wikramaratne, commonly known as "Miss Lena." John Tibbetts taught a class on mathematics as part of the 1962-1963 course, and John McDermott lectured on American political and philosophical history and its connection to Montessori education. There are also a few recordings from the 1960-1961 Teacher Training Course taught by Elizabeth Stephenson and from the 1964 Teacher Training Course. RR71-110 includes recordings from the 1962-1963 Teacher Training Course, as well as from the 1963 Philadelphia Professional Orientation Program for AMS, which featured lectures by Glenn Doman, Carl Delacato, Robert Doman, and others. Part of a Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) Course from 1963 and a few recordings from the 1964 Teacher Training Course, featuring John McDermott, can also be found in RR71-100. Recordings from RR60-RR108 can also be found in CD6-104. RR 118-128 are likely AMS 1969 Seminar #3-13. A complete list of reel to reel can be provided to the researcher upon request.
