Series I. consists of contemporary black and white photographs and color prints documenting the locations and attractions of various international expositions held in Europe and America during the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Some printed material is also present. Highlights include: photographs of the Paris Universal Exposition of 1878 taken by Hippolyte Auguste Collard and photographs of the Exposition universelle de 1889 (Paris, France) taken by the Neurdein Brothers.

Series II. includes original and reprinted picture postcards depicting places or scenes from various international and national exhibitions, expositions, and fairs.
