Millard's Civil War diary, a letter Millard wrote to his mother, his certificate of membership for the 14th Regiment of the New York State Militia (which became New York's 84th Infantry Regiment), as well as a letter from Joseph Millard to his mother, a copy of an etching of Colonel Ellsworth, and a newspaper clipping (undated, but post-civil war).
