Biographical / Historical:

Clarence Powell Thorne was born in 1874, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Civil War veteran, J. Powell Rogers Thorne and Amy Theodosious Zeigenfuss. He was married to Elsa Quaker. He was a right-wing ideologue and died in New York City, in August 1958.
