Vocal music, most 1960s or undated, consisting of autograph manuscript drafts and arrangements, transparencies, and diazo reproductions, some accompanied by copies of published music; and a small amount of other papers. Autograph manuscript music includes spirituals arranged for solo voice or chorus; The Negro Speaks of Rivers, Songs of the Seasons, Three Dream Portraits, and other songs on texts by Langston Hughes; songs on texts by Edna St. Vincent Millay and other poets; and musicals and songs with lyrics by Janice Lovoos, some with related correspondence. Other papers consist of a scrapbook containing photographs, clippings, and ephemera, most circa 1928-1930, some relating to Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, and Lawrence Richardson; and two books containing biographical information about Bonds and analysis of her music: Mildred Denby Green, Black Women Composers: A Genesis (Boston: Twayne Publishers, 1983), and Alice Tischler, Fifteen Black American Composers: A Bibliography of Their Works (Detroit: Information Coordinators, 1981).

The Margaret Croyden papers contain writings, research material, photographs, audiovisual material, and personal papers. Writings include drafts, printed versions, and photocopies of printed versions of reviews and essays on theater-related topics as well as corrected drafts of her fourth book, The Years in Between (Xlibris, 2011). Video recordings appear to date chiefly from Croyden's tenure with the CBS TV series Camera Three during the 1970s. There are audio recordings and other materials relating to theater director Peter Brook and possibly to Croyden's Conversations with Peter Brook: 1970-2000 (Theatre Communications Group, 2003). Other materials in the collection include clippings, computer disks, correspondence, photographs, a laptop, and slides.

The collection contains correspondence, writings, photographs, and personal papers documenting the life and work of Connecticut-based author Margaret Witter Fuller (1872-1954).

The papers contain personal correspondence, correspondence concerning The Nation and the American Men of Letters series, drafts of her autobiography and other writings, and personal papers.

The Marguerite Moreno Papers consist of letters from Moreno to Gaston Baheux, an animateur of Parisian cabarets known as Tonton de Montmartre; other correspondence; journals, drafts of published writings, and unidentified writings; family photographs, photographs of Moreno, and theater and film production photographs of her and other actors; and a small amount of personal papers. The papers mainly concern Moreno's friendships and acting career, particularly during the 1930s-1940s, and her autobiographical writings, with some materials relating to her experiences as an acting teacher in Argentina and as a nurse during World War I.

The Marguerite Young Papers document the work of writer Marguerite Young. The papers consist of personal and professional correspondence, drafts of writings, audiovisual material, notebooks, research files, printed material, photographs, artwork, realia, and financial papers spanning the years 1925 to 1999. The bulk of the collection consists of Young's drafts of writings, correspondence, and audiovisual material. Writings include autograph manuscript and typescript drafts, printed versions, notes, and notebooks of her writings, including Angel in the Forest: A Fairy Tale of Two Utopias; Miss Macintosh, My Darling; and Harp Song for a Radical: The Life and Times of Eugene Victor Debs. Correspondence includes letters from friends and colleagues regarding her professional and personal life. Audiovisual material consists of sound recordings and one unidentified film, including the 1974 to 1975 radio production of Miss Macintosh, My Darling read by various authors and actors for WBAI-FM Pacifica Radio. Other papers include photographs, clippings, financial papers, personal papers, personal effects, and realia..

Collection includes Bertha Coolidge Slade's collection of Edgeworth materials, including correspondence between Edgeworth and Richard Bentley and others; copies of letters by Edgeworth, including correspondence with Rachel Mordacai Lazarus and John Murray; letters by Richard Lovell Edgeworth; holograph poem entitled "Enigma"; drawing of Edgeworth's Library by F. W. Fairholt; and Slade's research files, gathered during research for her book, "Maria Edgeworth, 1767-1849, a Bibliographical Tribute," which consist of correspondence with rare book and manuscript dealers including Michael Sadleir, and notes about various editions of Edgeworth's writings.
Also included is original Edgeworth material from other sources, including correspondence with Anna Letitia Barbauld and others; letters by Richard Lovell Edgeworth; several engravings of Edgeworth; and an undated corrected typescript by E. G. Ewens entitled "Maria Edgeworth: A Study."

Chiefly letters from Coquelin to Maria H. Dehon, including ALS and manuscript transcriptions, and photographs. Also present are a small amount of other correspondence, writings by Coquelin, including an undated holograph of a work on Moliére's Tartuffe, published in 1884, printed materials concerning the Maison de retraite des vieux comédiens, other ephemera, and clippings. Letters from Coquelin, 1894-1908 and undated, concern his friendship with Dehon, their travels, and Coquelin's performances and tours. The letters discuss the Comédie-Français, the Théâtre de la Porte-Saint-Martin, the Maison de retraite des vieux comédiens, and friends and colleagues including Ernest Coquelin, Jean Coquelin, Sarah Bernhardt, Geraldine Farrar, Edmond Rostand, Pierre-Marie-René Waldeck Rousseau, and artist Jean-Charles Cazin. Other correspondence includes letters to Dehon from A. Chabert concerning the establishment of a Musée Cazin-Coquelin. Photographs include cabinet photographs and prints, most portraits of Coquelin, including several portraits in costume as Cyrano de Bergerac and other theater roles. Also present are postcards showing views of Pont-aux-Dames and a set of photographs of paintings of Coquelin in various theater roles.

The papers consist of a typescript short story by Seldes; playscripts by Richard H. Hepburn, Ira Levin, Anne Sexton, and Tennessee Williams and others, some accompanied by related correspondence and photographs; and a portrait of Seldes by William Ivey Long.
