Contains a third draft script for the Robert Altman-directed 1993 film (released under the moniker "Short Cuts"). This screenplay was written by Altman and Frank Barhydt, inspired by short stories and a poem by Raymond Carver. Where Carver's stories were set in the Pacific Northwest, this screenplay re-locates them (for a large cast) to Los Angeles. This film is thus a varied portrayal of early 1990s southern California life. This script contains an unidentified signature on the title page (possibly from actor Chris Penn).
