John Fiske Robson was an elementary school music teacher in Pelham, New York, and a vehement fan of Vladimir Horowitz. Robson donated letters, clippings and photographs to the Gilmore Music Library, in honor of Horowitz. It was decided that Robson's materials should be kept with the Horowitz Papers as a prime example of the dedication of Horowitz's most loyal fans. Note that there is some similar material in Series IX. of the Horowitz Papers.
