The first folder of this Series contains a chronological register of sermons preached by Hale and registers by Biblical text. These are followed by seven early sermons dating 1764-1786, not all of which are by Hale. Hale's first numerical sequence begins in 1789 with #1033 and ends in 1816 wtih #3533, with a large gap between #1299 and #3113. A new numerical sequence was begun in 1817 extending with only small gaps until #1327 in 1833.
