Abstract
A summary of the resource.
Elizabeth L. Proctor, a woman from Niantic, Connecticut and seceratary of her local Suffrage League, sent this letter to Connecticut governor Marcus H. Holcomb to ask him advocate women's suffrage in his upcoming election campaign. Thousands of other women wrote letters to Governor Holcomb in an attempt to impress upon him their determination in the movement.
