Abstract:

Lilly was a faculty member at WestConn in the late 1960s and inscribed this print to Truman Warner for Christmas. In addition to the image being shot through a fisheye lense, the emulsion has a brushed on effect. The image shows the Main Street New England facing what was known as "Swan Lake".
