The First Congregational Church of Bethel, Connecticut traces it history to the First Ecclastical Society of Bethel organized in 1759. The church was organized in 1760 and recognized by the Eastern Consociation of Fairfield County. The Reverend Noah Whitmore was its first pastor. This volume includes a history, the rules of the church, and a catalog of its members from its founding to 1887.
