Abstract


Rev. Abiel Abbott (1765-1859) was an American clergyman. A 1787 graduate of Harvard,he was named minister of the Congregational Church in Coventry, Connecticut in 1795. He was dismissed from position in 1811 for his Unitarian views. This volume is the Tolland Council's reply to his protest. See the link below for a detailed discussion of the controversy:
