These are pictures of John H. Ellwood's grave, as well as that of his wife, Theresa M. Ellwood. Their children are buried here, yet there are no markers still present to designate their places of internment.
Abstract
A summary of the resource.
John Ellwood was the second Chief Engineer of the Danbury fire department, and a member of the volunteer force for many years prior to its evolution into a paid department.
John H. Ellwood died in New York City on Feb 6, 1915, where he had been on account of business for the prior ten years. His wife, Theresa, retained residence in Danbury and John visited often.
