Bridgeport, Conn. April 8. Nancy Pardue is led in handcuffs by Deputy U.S. Marshal James O'Toole to her arraignment in Federal court after her husband, John R. Pardue attempted to escape from the court lockup, using a sawed-off rifle she is accused of smuggling in to him. The Pardues notably robbed the Union Savings Bank in Danbury and detonated 3 bombs in Danbury in February of 1970. Includes information about WCSC history professor Dr. David Detzer's students who made a film about the Danbury robbery, but were prevented from publicly releasing it by court order in response to a request from James Pardue's attorney.
