Therefore Caleb and Sarah were siblings.

Friend Starr, a shoemaker, grants Ebenezer Pickit's son Rufus an apprenticeship with him that will last two years.
"This indenture made this 27th Day of August AD 1803 between Friend Starr of Danbury....and Ebenezer Pickit of said Danbury....has this day put his Son Rufus: an Apprentice to the said Friend to learn the Art Trade or mystery of shoemaking & hereby ....the true & faithful service of said Rufus for the full Term of One year & Eleven Months wanting four days which Term will end on the 22nd day of July AD 1805......"

Reverse side: "January of 1799. Rec'd on the within [written?] note forty Dollars by the hand of Mr. Ebenezer Nickols [and] Daniel Comstock."
