Payment from Rufus Picket to "Levi Osborn one pound and eight shillings and eleven pence whis [which is] to balance Ebenezer Pickets account up to this date."
Reverse side: "Received of Ebonesior [Ebenezer] Pickett won [one] Load of wood which pays two dollars on the receipt.
Levi Osborn of Danbury, CT owned a lumber yard. Rufus Picket is paying off his elderly fathers' (Ebenezer Picket) bill for a load of wood.

Caleb Pickit to Sarah Pickit

Payment of two hundred dollars by Sarah Pickett to Caleb Pickett for "two acres of meadow land lying in Danbury at Beaver brook so called bounded as follows - Southerly by Matthew Whittlesy Lance, Easterly by Jacob W. Stewarts land, Northerly by Ebenezer Pickett's land and Westerly by Jacob Sudas land." Caleb Pickett was the son of Ebenezer Pickett , Jr., 1735 - 1812 and Sarah Abbott Pickett. Therefore Caleb and Sarah were siblings.

in the morning squeeze it out. Put in as much honey or sugar as will make
into a syrup. Put it over the fire.
Boil very easily stir it while boiling

Friend Starr, a shoemaker, grants Ebenezer Pickit's son Rufus an apprenticeship with him that will last two years.
"This indenture made this 27th Day of August AD 1803 between Friend Starr of Danbury....and Ebenezer Pickit of said Danbury....has this day put his Son Rufus: an Apprentice to the said Friend to learn the Art Trade or mystery of shoemaking & hereby ....the true & faithful service of said Rufus for the full Term of One year & Eleven Months wanting four days which Term will end on the 22nd day of July AD 1805......"

Ebenezer Nickols owes Daniel Comstock seventy-four dollars. It is unspecified what for.
"For Value Rec'd we the Subscribers Jointly and Severaley [Severally] promis [promise] to pay Daniel Comstock Seventy four Dollars by the first day of November next with interest untill paid."
Reverse side: "January of 1799. Rec'd on the within [written?] note forty Dollars by the hand of Mr. Ebenezer Nickols [and] Daniel Comstock."
