42 p., 1 leaf. 19 cm
The Church was founded in 1667, when the General Assembly in Hartford granted the inhabitants of "Kenilworth" (later, Killingworth) permission to establish a Church.
The town divided in 1737, with the northern section retaining its name, while the shoreline disctrict became Clinton. One of the early pastors of the church was Abraham Pierson, at whose home "The Collegiate School" (later known as Yale University) began. Pierson was the first rector of the college.

Wake up and live! By Dorothea Brande
3 p. l., 198 p., 1 l. 1 illus. 19 cm
One of the many "self-help" books written during the Great depression of the 1930's as authors sought to convince readers that they could take power into their own hands and not be bound by economic circumstances. Dorothea Brande (1892-1948) was an American author, lecturer and magazine editor.
