Chapter: Career

What did Truman Warner do after World War II was over? Did he come back to the United States completely unchanged by his experiences? The answer is no. Warner's already partially developed love for other cultures only grew with his time abroad. He brought back with him a pure love for anthropology and an excitement to begin his career, which he started at the Danbury State Teachers College. He had a genuine love for his community and stayed with the College throughout its development. Today, at Western Connecticut State University, Warner Hall is dedicated to Truman Warner, for his dedication and love for the school and his district.
